We are seeking a filmmaker or filmmaker/scholar with a significant track record in fiction, non-fiction, and/or experimental film/video production who is able to supervise and advise students on projects at all levels of our program and in a variety of forms and styles from fiction to documentary to experimental. We seek candidates with grounding in the creative aspects of film and video production, knowledge of new digital production workflows, a strong knowledge of film history, and the ability to also teach courses in cinema and media studies on a regular basis. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded film production and studies education that also permits students to specialize in areas of their particular interest. Our students go on to be directors, producers, DPs, editors, screenwriters, and artists working in a variety of media and forms.

Requirements for the position include: an MA, MFA, or Ph.D. in film production or a relevant field; a well-established track record of film exhibition and production; a vibrant and continuing artistic practice. Experience teaching at the college or university level is an asset.
