FMSAC-ACÉCM ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The FMSAC-ACÉCM Annual Conference is an international event typically held each spring at a Canadian university; it generally takes place during the last weeks or May or first week of June each year. A conference theme is established by the Executive but all panel and individual paper proposals are accepted. Calls for propoals for the annual conference are circulated at the end of each calendar year with a deadline set in January.

Le congrès annuel de la FMSAC-ACÉCM est un événement international qui a généralement lieu chaque printemps dans une université canadienne. Il a généralement lieu durant les dernières semaines de mai ou la première semaine de juin. Le thème du congrès est établi par le comité exécutif, mais toutes les propositions de panels et de communications individuelles sont acceptées. Les appels de propositions pour le congrès annuel sont lancés à la fin de chaque année civile, la date limite étant fixée en janvier.

MARTIN WALSH MEMORIAL LECTURE

In 1978 the Martin Walsh Memorial Lecture was inaugurated to commemorate the life and work of a central figure within Canadian Film Studies during its earliest years as a discipline. Peter Morris Prize
