The Film and Media Studies Association of Canada (FMSAC) is a non-profit scholarly organization, founded in 1977, which seeks to foster and advance the study of film and media in Canada and abroad from both a historical and aesthetic perspective. Our members are made up of professors, students, professionals, and non-specialists. Members receive a subscription to the Canadian Journal of Film Studies and are eligible to attend our annual conference.

Bienvenue

Fondée en 1977, l’Association canadienne d’études cinématographiques et médiatqiues (ACÉCM) est une société savante sans but lucratif dont l’objectif est de favoriser et de promouvoir l’étude du cinema et média au Canada et à l’étranger dans une perspective historique et artistique. D’autres domaines d’études connexes sont également considérés. Nos membres regroupent des professeurs, des étudiants, des professionnels et des non-spécialistes. Les membres reçoivent un abonnement au Journal canadien d’études cinématographiques, un accès à la liste de diffusion de l’ACÉCM et sont admissibles pour assister à notre conférence annuelle.
